Most Alike Celebrity Doppelgängers

Well hello there blogosphere, welcome back! Today, I'm choosing to once again rectify my lack of recent posting and get Teenage Fanatic back on track. Just before we venture into yet another month of 2015, I thought I'd do something a little random turn our attention to some of Hollywood's stars. Do you ever watch movies or TV shows and get confused as to who's on the screen? I know I certainly do. With so many people looking alike, how are we mere mortals supposed to tell the difference? Hopefully today by acknowledging these creepy celebrity doppelgängers, we'll know what to expect. Without further ado, here they all are . . .

Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel

No, you're not seeing double, I promise you these are actually 2 different people. Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel, I'm not even kidding, could actually be long lost twins. They seriously look practically identical! Plus, they're both musicians and making a name for themselves in the industry, so obviously talent is another thing these two have in common. My theory may sound a tad far fetched, but I'm going to believe they aren't related when I see the DNA test results.

Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman

For years, correctly identifying the Portman from the Knightley has been a difficult task for me to complete. Finally, after about a decade of practice, I've finally cracked the code, however it definitely wasn't an easy feat. In fact, the two look so alike that back in the day, Keira was given the role of Natalie's identical decoy in 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace'. Having two celebrities in the same field of work looking remarkably similar was never a good idea Hollywood! Why do you do this to us?

Amber Heard and Scarlett Johansson

Once again, it seems we've got two actresses with pretty much the same face, the only difference this time being that not many people are familiar with Amber Heard. If I'm being honest, the name doesn't really ring a bell. Maybe that's because I'm oblivious, or perhaps I've seen her in a range of movies and just assumed she was Scarlett Johansson. Whatever the reason, there's no doubting these two are freakily similar.

Victoria Justice and Nina Dobrev

I'm not gonna lie, for a while, I was kind of under the impression that these girls were the same people. Seriously, I just assumed that Tori from 'Victorious' was in fact Elena from 'The Vampire Diaries'. So once I found out that they were actually two separate actresses, the confusion definitely set in. Once more, these girls are just ridiculously alike. How DNA even permits these physical similarities to occur is just strange and weird and overwhelmingly confusing.

Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordan Levitt

I have to admit, finding the similarities between these two took me a while to come to terms with. I read somewhere on the world wide web that it was believed that both Heath and Joseph looked alike, and my gut reaction was 'no, of course they don't!', until I looked at photos of them side by side. There's no denying these actors and pretty similar facial features. Seriously, who knew? I've never got them confused before in my life, but now, I have no idea how I didn't notice this earlier.

Ashley Madekwe and Amber Stevens

These actresses may not be mega stars (well not yet at least), but they do have mega similarities. Ashley, on the left, you may know from the hit drama 'Revenge' (which is seriously awesome, so you should definitely watch it!), and Amber, on the right, was recently in the hit flick '22 Jump Street' (which I totally reviewed!). I think you can all agree with me on this one, these two girls look freakily similar. Not even kidding, they could totally pass for one another. In fact, I may or may not have sworn Ashley from 'Revenge' was actually '22 Jump Street for a while there. As their fame rises, so will the confusion.

Justin Timberlake and Matthew Morrison

I wouldn't say that these two look absolutely identical facially, but there's definitely some similarities between these guys. Seriously, the first time I saw JT's video for 'Suit and Tie', I was getting some serious Matthew Morrison 'Umbrella' vibes, to the point where my mum and I both screamed 'Mr Schue!' at the TV. I don't know if it's just the hair, but there's definitely some parallels between these guys.

Courteney Cox and Demi Moore

This is another situation where the similarity of these two actresses may not occur to you immediately, but when you see their photos side by side, there's no denying these girls are certainly alike. Because I've always associated Courteney with 'Friends' and Demi with Ashton Kutcher, there's never really been any reason for me to compare the two, however once I saw photos of them together, I began to realise that pretty much the only thing telling these two apart is their eye colour. If Courteney gets brown contacts, the world will become chaos.

Fergie and Kirstie Alley

I seriously don't know how I didn't notice this earlier, because these two pretty much have the same face, no doubt about it. I guess because they're always in vastly different contexts and I never really associated them with one another, but seriously, they're so alike it's ridiculous! If Fergie ever decides to do television, and Kirstie Alley returns to the small screen, I'll warn you now, all hell will break loose.

Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood

I feel like I'm saying this a lot, but once again, two actors, both alike in profession and alike in face. Seriously, how can two guys starring in fantasy movie franchises pretty much look exactly the same? How did Hollywood allow this to happen? Admittedly, Elijah Wood kinda looks like Daniel Radcliffe if he were a serial killer, but that's totally another issue. Nevertheless, there's no denying the similarities between these two, and if I'm being honest, it's really starting to creep me out.

Anyway, you've officially reached the end of my post! I'm actually starting to wonder if any in Hollywood has a face of their own, or if all famous people are just carbon copies of one another, who knows? We can try and spend a whole lot of time figuring out how the DNA of these stars caused them to look so alike, but let's get real, none of us can be bothered to do that. So instead, we'll just continue on with our lives and remain in a state of confusion. Til' next time . . .

'Into the Woods' Review (with GIF's!)

Hello and welcome back blogosphere! Today, I'm getting back into my reviewing mode and sharing with all of you what I thought of the new Broadway musical to movie adaptation of 'Into the Woods'. Once again, I'm actually pretty delayed in posting this. Being the musical fangirl I am, I practically made it my mission to go and see this film the day it came out (January 8th), and then of course to let it sink in another time, I watched it again the next day. So yeah, I apologise for the delay and all that jazz, but let's face it, I doubt any of you were hanging on the edge of your seats waiting for my critique. Nevertheless, my judgement of the flick awaits you below. Did I enjoy it? Did it live up to my admittedly sky high expectations? You'll have to wait and see.

Okay, let's get real, of course I loved it! It's a musical, so it's already got that going for it, plus, it's got one of the best casts ever, so what's not to like? Inevitably, the movie adaptation slightly pales in comparison to the original musical, but that's pretty expected considering it's impossible to fully capture the magic of theatre on screen. However, director Rob Marshall did give it a pretty good go. It was entertaining, it was funny, and it was quirky, a truly stellar combination.

So before I start getting into the nitty gritty of what I like about this film, I feel it only necessary to give you a sense of what it's about with some short plot retelling.

The movie begins as we are introduced to a Baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt), a loving couple who long for a baby, yet are cursed with childlessness by a not-so-wicked-witch (Meryl Streep).

However, the story has only just begun, the witch requesting that the couple venture into the woods and retrieve for her 4 items intended to restore her youth - a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn and a slipper as pure as gold. In exchange, she has agreed to reverse the curse and grace the two with a child, leading to their immediate acceptance of her proposal.

On their journey, the Baker and his wife meet a number of travellers, these being stock standard fairytale characters Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), a pre-beanstalk Jack (Daniel Huttlestone) and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy). Of course things don't go exactly according to plan, the collection of fairy stale protagonists straying from their original story lines and mayhem ensuing.

Of course, I'm going to have to stop there as to not reveal too many spoilers and ensure all hell doesn't break loose (trust me, I know how passionate musical theatre fans can be), but have no fear, my review continues.

As I've already hinted, this film really doesn't disappoint. When I discovered that Disney were going to tackle this project, I have to admit, I was getting a little worried. Were they going to completely ruin it and take away everything we know and love? The answer is no. Have no fear 'Into the Woods' fans, nothing is watered down or made more accessible to younger audiences (hence the PG rating), although there are admittedly a few minor alterations. For instance, in this particular adaptation, there is no person with the role of narrator. Instead, this job is done by James Corden as the Baker. Why? I'm not entirely sure. But in my opinion, this is probably for the better. In the stage production as narrator works brilliantly, however I'm not exactly sure how well this would translate to film, and could've very easily been executed poorly.

One thing you can definitely say the film had going for it was entertainment value. Not even kidding, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. From Johnny Depp as the wolf dressing as Little Red's granny, to Chris Pine and Billy Magnussen belting 'Agony' in a babbling brook, there was never a dull moment. Perhaps my favourite portrayal in the movie was by Emily Blunt, who wonderfully played the Baker's wife (which is a massive feat when in a movie alongside film veteran Meryl Streep). She managed to be both vulnerable and funny, and brought a subtlety to the role which worked exceptionally well on camera.

Overall, I am pleased to say this film was an overwhelming success. What would I be able to pinpoint as my favourite part of this flick? Chris Pine, hands down. He is seriously the best and most chauvinistic Prince Charming I've ever seen in my life (in the best, most comedic way possible). No, of course it wasn't perfect, but as far as stage-to-screen musical adaptations go, this is pretty much as good as it gets.  Safe to say, I'll definitely be rooting for this flick at the 2015 Oscars.

Well that about sums it up for this musical-movie review. As I say, I highly suggest you purchase a movie ticket as soon as possible, and of course revel in the awesomeness that is 'Into the Woods'. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Til' next time . . .

2015 According to Back to the Future II

Greetings once again readers, and welcome to my fourth post of 2015! Sorry I've been a tad delayed with my posting recently, but don't worry, I'm going to try and make it up to you. Today, I've decided to talk about what the world would be like in accordance with the ideas brought about in the second instalment of the 'Back to the Future' trilogy. Can you actually believe that we're in 1985's idea of the future? I mean, it just makes me feel so old (at 16 years of age). Did the 1989 film actually get anything right? Well, not really. Turns out, things aren't as futuristic as we once thought the 2000's would be. Doesn't it just make you feel positively devoid of advancement? Anyhow, I think it's time to cut my rambling short and get on with things . . .

Flying Cars

If I'm being honest here, I actually feel super ripped off with this one. Is it technologically possible to create a flying car? If you think about it, probably. Yet do we have them? No, no we don't. Considering we have aeroplanes and helicopters and all other sorts of airborne vehicles, you'd think making a flying object in the shape of a car wouldn't be particularly difficult, but apparently, humans suck and are too lazy to make this happen. So yes, as a result, this 'Back to the Future' dream has been dashed, and has become nothing but a fantasy.

Hoverboards

Apparently, Hoverboards actually are becoming a thing! And no, I'm not hallucinating. Recently, scientists have at least tried not to disappoint us in this area, and have been working on creating these wheelless, flying skateboards. How cool is that? However, they are rumoured to cost $10,000, so my guess is they won't exactly be widely used gadgets as they are in the film. Oh well, at least they exist (for the insanely wealthy).

Virtual Movie Posters

As a lover of movies, seeing posters come to life would actually be amazing! Imagine rocking up to a cinema and getting to interact with holographic characters. Wouldn't that just complete your life? Sadly however, this is currently not the case. We probably have the technology to do stuff like that, but still, we continue to be deprived of this awesomeness. Why? I do not know. All that matters is that it's wrong and needs to be rectified immediately. Also, what really sucks in addition to that is that the poster in 'Back to the Future Part II' is shown to be for 'Jaws 19'. Where are the other 15 sequels Steven Spielberg? Someone better get cracking.

Self Tying Nike's

Imagine a world where boring, daily tasks such as tying your shoes are practically unheard of. Never again will you have to trip over your shoelaces as you hurriedly run to school because you didn't have time to tie them before you left the house. Now, you can have it all! Or you could, if they'd been invented. Unfortunately, this awesome footwear isn't yet a reality. That's right, Robert Zemeckis got us all excited over this gadget, which low and behold, has just become another massive disappointment. If I'm being honest, I don't even wear Nike's, but if they were terrific timesavers as shown in 'Back to the Future Part II', you can bet they'd be my new footwear brand of choice. But alas, this is not the case, and once again we're reminded of how primitive our times truly are.

Size Adjustable Clothing

This really is just a fabulous invention that most definitely should have arrived by now. No one would ever have to fret over a store running out of their size again, because there would be no sizes! We could all have our very own 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' moment with the help of science, I mean, how fabulous would that be? Plus, we'd all be able to strut around in specially customised clothing without having to get it altered. Seriously, what's not to love? You know, except the fact that this doesn't actually exist.

Pizza in Seconds

I think it's pretty safe to say that pizza is a food adored by many. The way I see it, the quicker it's made, the more glorious it becomes. If pizza became not only awesomely delicious, but quick to make as well, life would just be ridiculously great. When you get home late and are tired and grumpy, have no fear, your small, dehydrated pizza is a mere seconds away from becoming a masterpiece. However, you guessed it, this hasn't been invented yet either. What is wrong with the world? Can't we get anything right?

So this now brings the blog post to an end. Hopefully all this 'Back to the Future Part II' referencing gave you all the nostalgic feels, and didn't cause you to lose all faith in humanity. Maybe we'll get to this technologically advanced state someday! Til' next time . . .

Behind the Scenes: 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat'

Well greetings once again blogosphere! As I hinted in my last post, I was doing something very exciting with my holidays. What exactly may that be? I may as well put you out of your misery now and just tell you right off the bat. Why, I happen to be a part of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' put on by Packemin Productions running from January 9th to January 24th (in 2015, obviously). So if you live in Sydney and are able to locate Chatswood, we still have 11 of our 16 performances left, so you should totally come along! And if you don't live anywhere near here and have trouble locating Australia on a map, I'll just spend today telling you all about it to make you feel better. Game plan set, let's get into it . . .

First off, why don't I begin by giving you a little bit of background information? Well, I auditioned for the musical at the beginning of September last year, got into the Senior Ensemble (represent!), and have been in rehearsals for about 4 and a half months now. It's been all super exciting, because by now you all know I love fangirling about musicals, but being in them would have to take the cake (the fact that it's a professional production doesn't hurt either). And yes, I'm totally pro now and rising to international super stardom, no autographs please.

Anyway, we went through a bunch of initial rehearsals, Sitzprobe, Tech, Dress Rehearsals, and as of Friday, finally opened at the Concourse theatre. To say I'm majorly excited would be an understatement. With 5 shows down, I'd say everyone's ridiculously pumped. We're a small cast entirely consisting of people aged 20 and under (given that it is a youth production), and of course, the process has been wonderful.

The musical itself also happens to be really fun and unique. There are a whole bunch of different music genres and styles, including Elvis inspired rock n' roll ('Song of the King'), a Calypso number ('Benjamin Calypso'), and even some French laments ('Those Canaan Days'). So yeah, if you're after a diverse variety of music, Joseph's the musical for you. It provides an audience with pretty much everything. Humour, entertainment, and show stopping numbers, what more could one ask for? And before you accuse me of being biased (which I probably am), why don't you just go and see our show and make up your own mind? (self promotion for the win!). Here's the totally awesome poster!

It seems to be Packemin's tradition to cast at least one professional performer in their productions, and in 'Joseph', this is ex-wiggle and current children's show star Sam Moran. He plays the role of Jacob, and I don't mean to brag or anything, but I totally got a selfie with him. Be jealous.

As you can imagine, everyone in the cast is ridiculously talented, so being a part of the musical has been really awesome. Everything's just so great so far, from the costumes, to the set, to the props, and of course, to the performers (not to toot my own horn or anything). From this, the entire cast's just become one big, weird, musical theatre loving family (possibly because ordinary people don't understand us).

So in conclusion, a) being in a musical is awesome, b) 'Joseph' is one of the best ones to be apart of, and c) you should totally come when you get the chance. Thanks for taking time out of your ordinary lives to read this! Til next time . . .

Best and Worst Dressed: Golden Globes 2015

Hello and welcome back readers! Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately, but don't worry, there is a legitimate excuse (which I will cover in a future post as to not waste any more of your time now). Anyway, to make up for my recent lack of posting, I've decided to start 2015 off strong by talking about some of the major fashion do's and don't's of this year's Golden Globe Awards. Let's face it, everyone loves a good fashion smack down, so there's no need to hide your intense anticipation and excitement at the prospect of judging people you've never met. So, without further ado, may I present to you the best and worst dressed celebrities  . . .

Best Dressed

Emma Stone

It may not be totally traditional, but I am absolutely loving Emma's ensemble. Classic on top, edgy on the bottom. That's a mash up I can get behind. She looks terrifically awesome, and still manages to exude elegance. Her innovative take on a red carpet gown really delivers, and no matter how hard I may try to find some, her outfit's pretty much flawless. All in all, Emma chose very wisely.

Greer Grammar

Greer at this award ceremony was no ordinary nominee, but was indeed Miss Golden Globes of 2015. How much of an honour is that! I guess being Kelsey Grammar's daughter and member of the 'Awkward' cast has its perks. So as a result of her pretty awesome, prestigious position in the award ceremony, there was a lot of pressure on Greer to totally steal the show, and boy did she ever. I kind of feel like Greer and I are in total style synchronisation, because I would absolutely wear that dress! From me, that is perhaps the biggest fashion compliment one can receive. It's girly, it's pretty and she just looks amazing! Greer can definitely count this outfit as an almighty success!

Reese Witherspoon

Next on my best dressed list is miss Elle Woods herself (looking pretty much exactly the same as she did in 'Legally Blonde' way back in 2001). This sparkly ensemble was definitely a winner in my books. It's classy, it's elegant, but still manages to be girly and pretty at the same time. There's not much more I can say, because as I've mentioned, she just totally, 100% crushed it. Overall, a fabulous outfit.

Gina Rodriguez

This dress really is a perfect example of how going with something simple can really pay off. It's sleek, it's elegant, and Gina really just looks amazing. I like how it's all classic up the top, but then becomes fun and interesting down the bottom, which for me sets it apart. I'd try and find flaws, but once again, it seems that there really aren't any to choose from. Another awesome outfit!

Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Sure, I only really know who she is because she's married to Channing Tatum, but nevertheless, Jenna really rocked it on the red carpet. Yellow is a hard colour to wear, however this particular, pastel shade of lemon looks fabulous and not too overpowering. Seriously, it looks like sorbet (in the best way possible)! The shape of the dress also works really well, and it really is just a pretty ensemble. Overall, a stunning outfit!

Worst Dressed

Lena Dunham

I seriously just feel like Miss Dunham has a permanent place on this list. Why Lena, why? To be fair, she does seem to be improving in the red carpet fashion department. The dress itself isn't hideous, which is already dramatically better than anything else she's ever worn to an awards show. The outfit as a whole just looks...awkward. The weird high-low cut off is just not working, and not flattering in the slightest. She kind of looks stilted and uncomfortable, and the hard, greasy looking hair really doesn't help. Topped off with weirdly heavy eye make-up, this outfit gets a definite no from me.

Tina Fey

It's a real shame considering she's co-hosting the show and all, but Tina's dress just didn't do it for me. It's not horrible, but it certainly isn't nice. The top part is passable, but the bottom just kind of looks like a reverse, broken crinoline hoop skirt. Who would willingly put that shaped skirt on their body? I honestly don't really know what Tina was thinking. But hey, she's still an awesome person, so better luck next time.

Melissa McCarthy

Things just went from bad to worse with Melissa's outfit. I don't even really know what to say. Once again, she's known as being awesome and funny, but fashion wise, things aren't so great. If I'm being honest, I can't find anything I like about this dress (or skirt? or pinafore? I don't even know what it is!). It kind of looks like an odd combination between business clothes and a petticoat, topped off with a large, unnecessary piece of fabric around the neck. I'm sorry Melissa, but this just isn't working out.

Jemima Kirk

I don't really have any idea who this girl is, but one thing's for sure, I'll remember her name now. What even is this? Fitted out in a frock that looks as if it's formed from old, unwanted curtains, Jemima really isn't dressed to impress. The shape (what there is of it) is all wrong, her hair is flat and boring, and the colour of the top and skirt don't even match! Whoever Jemima's stylist is should be fired. Also, just another tip, the only person who can rock a cape on the red carpet is Lupita

Claire Danes

Just looking at this dress makes me feel overwhelmed. There's so much going on here that I seriously can't concentrate! First off, using the colours of a peacock in clothing is hardly ever going to work in your favour, so note to self Claire, don't even try. The heavy beading looks more like something fit for a tapestry than a red carpet gown, and I don't even know why someone would go to all that effort to make something so clunky and unappealing. And finally, the shape of the dress itself, for lack of a better word, sucks. All in all, a major disappointment.

So we've now officially reached the end of my list. I've given praise, I've passed judgement, so I've officially completed my job here. Hopefully you agree with my critique, and if not, sound off (nicely) in the comments section (if you can be bothered of course). Til' next time . . .

Happy New Year Everybody!

Hello blogosphere, and welcome to 2015! I hope everyone's Christmases were amazing (I know mine was), and that you weren't all too disappointed that someone *cough* me *cough* wasn't able to complete all 12 days of Blogmas. In my defence, the holidays can be a busy time, and what kind of person would I be if I wasn't able to watch both 'Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever', and 'Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh' before the 25th came around? So once again, I apologise for that, but let's face it, most of you probably didn't care. Anyway, a new year has rolled around since my last post, and as you know, that's kind of a big deal. So, in proper celebratory fashion, I've decided to list some of the most popular people, words and things to occur in 2014 to give the last 365 days before these a proper send off. Sound good? Let's hope it does, because it's happening. Without further ado, here's what went down last year . . .

Actors and Actresses

Top 6 Googled Actors of 2014

6. Ansel Elgort

5. Theo James

4. Chris Pratt

3. Macaulay Culkin

2. Matthew McConaughey

1. Jared Leto

Would I say I'm happy with this list? Yeah, pretty much. I mean, if it were totally up to me, of course it would just be jam packed with Glee stars and Broadway veterans, but unfortunately sometimes not everyone agrees with the world according to me (although they totally should). But on the plus side, there's no one I hate on here, and I'm proud to admit I've heard of every single one of these guys. Achievement! Stars of 'Divergent' (and in Ansel's case, 'TFIOS' as well) are on the list representing the teen fangirls of 2014, and I have to say, I'm pretty proud of who my generation have decided to obsess over. I mean, a major improvement on 'Twilight', the progress really is just unbelievable. And the others? They seem nice and all, so all is well. Plus, the fact that Macaulay Culkin made it on the list because of all the rumours surrounding his supposed death I find pretty funny.

Top 6 Googled Actresses of 2014

6. Margot Robbie

5. Kim Novak

4. Ellen Page

3. Betty White

2. Renée Zellweger

1. Jennifer Lawrence

Once again, there aren't any complaints here. Of course, Lea Michele should definitely be on the list, but that's another issue. J-Law being number one is certainly awesome, because, you know, she's the bomb. And in case you don't already know, I actually love Betty White so much it's ridiculous! She is just the best person ever! So being number three really is a solid effort at 92. Just to be very clear, you haven't completely lost your eye sight, that is indeed Renée Zellweger in the 2nd last photo. The fact that she has a new face has assisted her in getting the number two spot, although I really feel like I can't judge, because no matter what she does, there'll always be Bridget Jones and Chicago, and that's all that matters. Ellen Page is also pretty cool in the 2 movies I've seen her in, and her awesomeness in 'Juno' shall forever live on in the minds of many. Number 5, no idea. Not even a clue. But for the final actress on the list, I have to get a little patriotic. Australia, we made it!

10 Most Popular Songs of 2014

10. All of Me - John Legend

9. Break Free - Ariana Grande feat. Zedd

8. The Monster - Eminem feat. Rihanna

7. Wrecking Ball  - Miley Cyrus

6. Happy - Pharrell Williams

5. Let It Go - Idina Menzel

4. Dark Horse - Katy Perry feat. Juicy J

3. Problem - Ariana Grande feat. Iggy Azalea

2. Fancy - Iggy Azalea feat. Charlie XCX

1. Bang Bang - Jessie J feat. Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj

Can I just say right off the bat, I am actually so happy Taylor Swift didn't make it on this list. Not even kidding, I'm feeling unbelievable relief. And guess what? I don't even hate anyone else who made it in the top 10, how crazy is that? Plus, I think for the first time in my entire life, I've actually listened to every one of these songs. How has that happened? I have absolutely no idea. So yeah, you could say I'm pretty happy with the outcome. The fact that Idina Menzel's 'Let It Go' is still going strong makes me all kinds of happy, and the fact that Ariana Grande, who's Broadway background has earned her my respect, was on the list a whopping three times is also a bonus. Iggy Azalea also made her way onto the list, once again representing Australia, which can really only be a good thing. The placement of 'Wrecking Ball' did surprise me a little considering it came out mid way through 2013, but who knows, maybe the controversy of the music video made the single have staying power. Overall, a pretty solid list.

Top 10 Words of 2014

10. Beatboxer

9. Legit

8. YASSSSS

7. Killin' It

6. Dat

5. Turn Up

4. Coolin' It

3. Deligious

2. Twerking

1. Vibing

I don't really know what to think about this list at all really. In fact, I don't even think I could define the majority of these slang terms. So I guess due to my lack of knowledge, I'm pretty impartial. However, I can honestly say I am super relieved 'swag' or 'fleek' or something else utterly ridiculous hasn't made it onto this list, so that's certainly a bonus.

Anyway, that's pretty much the end of the post. I hope everyone's 2015 has started off well, and that you don't hate me too much for abandoning Blogmas. Til' next time . . .
