Greetings once again readers, and welcome to my fourth post of 2015! Sorry I've been a tad delayed with my posting recently, but don't worry, I'm going to try and make it up to you. Today, I've decided to talk about what the world would be like in accordance with the ideas brought about in the second instalment of the 'Back to the Future' trilogy. Can you actually believe that we're in 1985's idea of the future? I mean, it just makes me feel so old (at 16 years of age). Did the 1989 film actually get anything right? Well, not really. Turns out, things aren't as futuristic as we once thought the 2000's would be. Doesn't it just make you feel positively devoid of advancement? Anyhow, I think it's time to cut my rambling short and get on with things . . .
Flying Cars
If I'm being honest here, I actually feel super ripped off with this one. Is it technologically possible to create a flying car? If you think about it, probably. Yet do we have them? No, no we don't. Considering we have aeroplanes and helicopters and all other sorts of airborne vehicles, you'd think making a flying object in the shape of a car wouldn't be particularly difficult, but apparently, humans suck and are too lazy to make this happen. So yes, as a result, this 'Back to the Future' dream has been dashed, and has become nothing but a fantasy.
Hoverboards
Apparently, Hoverboards actually are becoming a thing! And no, I'm not hallucinating. Recently, scientists have at least tried not to disappoint us in this area, and have been working on creating these wheelless, flying skateboards. How cool is that? However, they are rumoured to cost $10,000, so my guess is they won't exactly be widely used gadgets as they are in the film. Oh well, at least they exist (for the insanely wealthy).
Virtual Movie Posters
As a lover of movies, seeing posters come to life would actually be amazing! Imagine rocking up to a cinema and getting to interact with holographic characters. Wouldn't that just complete your life? Sadly however, this is currently not the case. We probably have the technology to do stuff like that, but still, we continue to be deprived of this awesomeness. Why? I do not know. All that matters is that it's wrong and needs to be rectified immediately. Also, what really sucks in addition to that is that the poster in 'Back to the Future Part II' is shown to be for 'Jaws 19'. Where are the other 15 sequels Steven Spielberg? Someone better get cracking.
Self Tying Nike's
Imagine a world where boring, daily tasks such as tying your shoes are practically unheard of. Never again will you have to trip over your shoelaces as you hurriedly run to school because you didn't have time to tie them before you left the house. Now, you can have it all! Or you could, if they'd been invented. Unfortunately, this awesome footwear isn't yet a reality. That's right, Robert Zemeckis got us all excited over this gadget, which low and behold, has just become another massive disappointment. If I'm being honest, I don't even wear Nike's, but if they were terrific timesavers as shown in 'Back to the Future Part II', you can bet they'd be my new footwear brand of choice. But alas, this is not the case, and once again we're reminded of how primitive our times truly are.
Size Adjustable Clothing
This really is just a fabulous invention that most definitely should have arrived by now. No one would ever have to fret over a store running out of their size again, because there would be no sizes! We could all have our very own 'Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' moment with the help of science, I mean, how fabulous would that be? Plus, we'd all be able to strut around in specially customised clothing without having to get it altered. Seriously, what's not to love? You know, except the fact that this doesn't actually exist.
Pizza in Seconds
I think it's pretty safe to say that pizza is a food adored by many. The way I see it, the quicker it's made, the more glorious it becomes. If pizza became not only awesomely delicious, but quick to make as well, life would just be ridiculously great. When you get home late and are tired and grumpy, have no fear, your small, dehydrated pizza is a mere seconds away from becoming a masterpiece. However, you guessed it, this hasn't been invented yet either. What is wrong with the world? Can't we get anything right?
So this now brings the blog post to an end. Hopefully all this 'Back to the Future Part II' referencing gave you all the nostalgic feels, and didn't cause you to lose all faith in humanity. Maybe we'll get to this technologically advanced state someday! Til' next time . . .

I can’t believe that my GENITAL HERPES is really cured. ReplyDeleteI am just another person that as i would say, the ' GREAT SPELL CASTER OTIS DARKO ' has helped word can not describe all he did for me i would rather you all that would read this were all in my life when all what he did for me materialized because only then will you really believe what i am talking about. I am just another person that as i would say, the ' GREAT SPELL CASTER OTIS DARKO ' has helped word can not describe all he did for me i would rather you all that would read this were all in my life when all what he did for me materialized because only then will you really believe what i am talking about.
